In case some of you also plan to build a Renault UE, here
are some reference pics I took from the two vehicules that can be seen at the « Musée Royal de
l’Armée » (MRA) in Brussels. As you will see one of the vehicules on the following pics was captured by the
German army and has been converted with a kind of fixed armored turret in which
was placed a MG34 or MG42. This version could be an interesting and original subject
of modelling…
I mainly used these pics to add some missing rivets and details on Tamiya's model which is really nice to build and as always with this firm's kits ... very precise. The vehicule itself is about the size of a Willys Jeep.
