Hello everyone,
This week end I painted the camo of the Hotchkiss. The two first parts of the building / painting of the H39 can be found here: part 1 and part 2.
I tried to paint the camo with a light "modulation style" but I'm not 100% happy with the result because I think I should have added more contrast to the darker and lighter shades that I used. Anyway... I'll do better next time (live and learn...) moreover I think the camo looks OK. Next steps: small touch ups to the tracks (because the masks I made during the painting of the camo weren't closed tightly enough), painting the tools and details, some chipping, varnish, setting the decals, varnish again, oils, washes and pigments.
The tank commander (from Miniart) is also on my workbench to be painted and has already received a layer of primer.
Comments and constructive criticisms are always welcome. Enjoy the pics!
